What Are Credits?
Credits are account balance units used for eligible Azan AI workflows. Each supported tool has a credit cost shown before processing so you can decide whether to run it.
Where Credits Come From
Credits can come from monthly plan allowances, prepaid credit purchases, approved restorations, or occasional bonuses. Payments must be verified before paid credits are added.
How Credits Are Used
Credits are consumed by successful tool runs. Runtime authorization uses the billing and entitlement systems; the table below displays current default tool costs from the existing tool registry.

These display values are pulled from the existing Azan AI tools registry instead of being hard-coded on this page.

Plan allowance
Monthly plans can include credits that refresh according to the plan shown on the pricing page.
Purchased credits
Paid credit packages add prepaid credits to your account after payment is verified and fulfilled.
Restored or bonus credits
Azan AI may restore credits after eligible technical failures or add discretionary bonus credits when appropriate.
Credit Expiry
Azan AI's current refund policy focuses on whether credits were used, unused, restored, or removed after an approved refund. The current Billing ADR describes credit packs as prepaid usage and keeps expiry as future credit-engine work rather than an active customer-facing expiration rule.
If Azan AI introduces expiring credit lots later, expiry must preserve the append-only credit ledger and be documented before it affects customers.
Failed Processing
Credits should represent completed processing. If an Azan AI technical failure causes credits to be consumed without providing the requested tool output, contact support with your account email, order details when relevant, and a short description of the failed run.
Consistent with the refund policy, Azan AI may investigate and, where appropriate, restore credits, provide another reasonable remedy, or approve a refund for the affected transaction.
How credit usage looks in practice
Exact deductions depend on the tool you run and the successful processing result recorded for your account.
A quick QR campaign
- 1Generate a Location QR for an event address.
- 2The current tool registry marks Location QR as a 1-credit workflow.
- 3After a successful run, 1 credit is deducted from your balance.
A PDF cleanup task
- 1Upload a PDF to OCR PDF so the text becomes searchable.
- 2The live display cost below comes from the tool registry, currently 3 credits.
- 3If the run fails before producing the requested output, contact support so the transaction can be reviewed.
A seller workflow
- 1Run Product Listing Generator for a marketplace draft.
- 2The registry currently lists it as a 3-credit workflow.
- 3You can use remaining credits across other eligible tools instead of locking credits to that workflow.
